LONDON, 22 February 2012 – Data Integration, Xchanging’s (LSE:XCH) network and security integrator, today launched its Next Generation Security proposition at a London based seminar for senior IT managers.
In conjunction with two Gartner Magic Quadrant vendors, Palo Alto Networks and ForeScout Technologies, Data Integration introduced their solution which helps organisations protect the lifeline of their business with industry-leading defence from the perimeter to the device. At the seminar, the serious threats of modern malware and intelligent intrusion were discussed as was the need for businesses to better assess their organisation’s network security risks and vulnerabilities.
Next Generation Security is about having an all-encompassing security posture that protects and controls data being shared in networks without boundaries. Although Palo Alto Networks and ForeScout Technologies have different approaches to Next Generation Security, they both bring visibility and control to an organisation (at an application and user level) regardless of the device being used. This enables business agility through the use of a wider range of cloud-sourced applications but without exposing the organisation to security risks. Data Integration has proven skills and expertise in bringing blended solutions together to protect an organisation's network, data and users.
Garath Lauder, Sales and Marketing Director at Data Integration commented, “Most organisations now realise that traditional firewalls and access control solutions leave huge vulnerabilities in the network. It's become a matter of when, not if, industry-leading defences are introduced by upgrading to a Next Generation Security solution. “
Data Integration is a Palo Alto Networks Platinum Partner and a ForeScout Technologies Gold Partner. Information on Data Integration’s Next Generation Security proposition can be found on the website:
