Basingstoke, UK, 08 December 2010. Data Integration, an Xchanging company, has today announced its status as the first UK Authorised Service Centre for Palo Alto Networks. Data Integration’s local presence enables the company to offer improved SLA’s on Palo Alto support for UK customers and additional benefits such as the ability to provide qualified engineers on site.
The Authorised Service Centre accreditation means that Data Integration has achieved the most stringent levels of engineering certification and gives Data Integration direct access to Palo Alto’s Technical Assistance Centre. Data Integration also has a permanent Palo Alto lab facility which means the company can replicate and resolve issues ‘in country’, in real-time with local expertise.
Data Integration has been a leading UK partner of Palo Alto Networks since the company’s launch into the UK market in 2008. Data Integration was quick to identify the potential of Palo Alto’s innovative approach to IT security, which has seen the vendor propelled from a start-up to a leader in the firewall category. Commenting on the development, Mark Slater, Chief Operation Officer of Data Integration said, "I am delighted that we have achieved the Authorised Service Centre status with Palo Alto Networks, which will enable us to offer even better levels of service to our customers. The achievement is in line with our strategy of being able to provide customers with superior support services and builds on the service accreditations we already have in place with our other leading vendors."
Karl Driesen, VP EMEA at Palo Alto Networks, concluded, “Data Integration is a great partner for us in the UK. Their elevation to Authorised Service Centre status is a significant move in the development of our support capabilities enabling us to offer customers with a high standard of locally provided support.”
